Barbara Tlush, a resident of Chadds Ford, is
well known as an impressionist oil painter and as a muralist. She has had a passion for the arts her entire life. She attended classes at the Parsons School of Design, Rhode Island School of Design, and received a BFA from Kutztown University. Her greatest influences have been from studying with
Pennsylvania artist Edward Lis, and Don Stone of
Monhegan Island, Maine. |

When not landscape painting with fellow
artists or working on murals she can be found plein air painting on the rocky coast of Maine.
Her award wining oil paintings and murals can be found in many private
and corporate collections and in the Chadds Ford Gallery
in Chadds Ford PA and the Kent Gallery in Galena MD
Besides her gallery work, Barbara also gives children's
